JNU event: A tragedy more serious than Kargil War

The recent event at JNU Delhi is one of the most shocking and turbulent news I ever heard or viewed since my birth. It's  a grievous one in my opinion because of one reason, i.e., the lost youth of India, the misguided angels of India, who have even forgotten to discriminate between sense of freedom and anti-nationalist activities. I am shocked to the core of my soul and body when I watched the so called broad-minded, elite class of our students shouting slogans against their own motherland. It was a ghastly sight, an incredible one--how one can justify such heinous crime against our nation. Is this what is written there in the heavy volumes found in the esteemed JNU? Is this the sum total of higher education that the future citizens of a country pose a threat to the present of that nation? Are we paying taxes to provide funding to educational institutions like JNU just for this--to prepare a nursery of traitors who support the terrorists like Afzal and condemn his hanging. Not only this, they take oath to avenge his death. The person who just deserved our curses, is turned into overnight hero and our enlightened youth of JNU claim to indulge in his hero worship. This is an insult of the very Constitution of India. It is a matter of grave concern. Is this what our freedom fighters fought for. Our martyrs had urged, "Toofan se hum laaye hain kashti nikaal ke, is desh ko rakhna mere bachchon sambhal ke". And see the irony: the so-called children of India are worshipping Satan instead of God.

But the steps taken by the government are commendable. I don't intend to support any political party by giving vent to my views through this blog. I wish to project just one point : No action, no slogan, no person, no nation can be justified if it goes against our BHARAT. We owe our very existence to our nation(DESH HAI TO HUM HAIN). We don't have any identity once our country is wiped out. Such insolence can not be justified in the name of freedom of expression. Everyone is free to express his ideas but not at the stake of India's honour. Who has given them the right to do so? WHO? Such activities need to be treated as treason and be handled very rigidly. One may not like the ruling party. OKAY!  One may not like the government, even this is accepted. One doesn't like backing groups like RSS. even this is fully justified. But you can't insult the whole nation, you can't challenge the entire country, you can't defy the Constitution ! And if one dares to do so, what is he supposed to be branded as? A HARD-CORE TERRORIST, A demagogue, a traitor.

The worst part of all this is the support--political as well as verbal-- those guys are receiving from different counters. Have we gone so mean in power politics that  the feelings like love for nation, patriotism, martyrdom, selfless service to nation have taken wings? You wish to study in the same country, you wish to get a job here, you seek peace and prosperity here, you wish to be the ruling party here, you wish to be called the representative of this nation but you are speaking against the same country and supporting them  who have dared to shout at full volume "Pakistan Zindabad". Shame on you and shame on such dirty politics. There are some morals and values in politics too.

My dear countrymen, I entreat you to be conscious of your duties to your nation, and the first and the foremost duty is to respect it and safeguard it at any cost. How can we waste the martyrdom of soldiers like Hnumanthappa who battled against death for several hours in order to survive and serve this nation. This country is not so feeble that a handful of eccentric leftists will make it fall apart. It is as strong as the Himalayas and we'll keep on living here with heads as high as Mt. Everest. We need to be united in the name of nation, if not in the name of a party or a government. The teachers, Professors, mentors and guides of educational institutions need to be torch bearers, they need not support such nuisances in their campus and around the nation. they need to teach the lesson of patriotism to each and everyone through their words as well as deeds.
Hope to see a better India in future! Jai Hind, Jai Bharat!
